Read More » Several of the engines being tested power some A320 family aircraft. The emergency AD requires operators to conduct an ultrasonic inspection (USI) of the affected high-pressure turbine (HPT) 1st-stage disks and HPT 2nd-stage disks within 10 flight cycles and replace any that did not pass the inspection. It listed 15 engine serial numbers.
