Jeju Air starts Incheon-Saipan route

South Korea's Jeju Air has resumed nonstop flights between Seoul Incheon and Saipan, the Yonhap News Agency has reported, citing comments from an airline spokesperson. Read More » "We expect most of the initial passengers to be businessmen, Koreans living overseas and their family members," the spokesperson said. "But pent-up demand for travel (to the U.S. territories) is expected to rise depending on the pace of COVID-19 vaccinations, the agency source said. The governments of Guam and Saipan have exempted arriving travellers who have received the Janssen, Moderna or Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines from completing two weeks of quarantine.
