Singapore Airlines returning to Manchester

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has announced a resumption of nonstop flights to Manchester from July 16 with A350-900s. Read More » The three times a week service will depart Singapore on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with the return service taking off from Manchester on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays, SIA said. “Manchester and the northwest [UK] region have been a key part of our route network for more than 30 years, so while it was never our intention to have an enforced break in service, as has happened due to the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, we are delighted to be able to return," SIA general manager U.K. and Ireland, Mohamed Rafi Mar, said. Until the pandemic outbreak, SIA served Manchester on a Singapore-Manchester-Houston routing.
