All Nippon Airways domestic passenger numbers slide for second consecutive month

The May traffic report for All Nippon Airways (ANA) said the carrier transported 965,752 passengers on its domestic network in May, down 23.3% from 1.3 million in April. Read More » It was ANA's second consecutive month-on-month decline in domestic passengers carried after a recent increase in daily COVID-19 infections that dampened demand for travel. The May 2021 figure was 74.8% below the 3.8 million domestic passengers flown by ANA in pre-COVID-19 May 2019. Domestic passenger load factor for the month was 41.1%, compared with 45% in April and 69.3% in May 2019.
