Boeing's 737 MAX 10 completes maiden flight

Read More » The aircraft, with registration N27751, took off from Boeing's Renton facility in Washington State, did a touch-and-go at Moses Lake and landed at Boeing Field in Seattle, data from flight tracking websites showed. Total flight time was two hours and 31 minutes, Boeing said. "The airplane performed beautifully," Boeing 737 chief pilot, Jennifer Henderson, said. "The profile we flew allowed us to test the airplane's systems, flight controls and handling qualities, all of which checked out exactly as we expected." The 737 MAX 10 is designed to fly up to 3,300nm, or 6,110km, carrying up to 230 passengers in a single-class layout and between 188-204 passengers in a two-class configuration. The test aircraft was powered by two CFM International LEAP-1B engines.
