Rolls-Royce delivers 1,000th Trent XWB engine

UK headquartered Rolls-Royce, which powers the A350 aircraft family, has delivered its 1,000th Trent XWB engine. Read More » The company milestone was reached seven years after the engine’s entry into service in March 2014. The Trent XWB has recorded up to eight million flying hours on 600,000 flights, Rolls-Royce said. Rolls-Royce civil aerospace president, Chris Cholerton, said: “Approximately 60% of installed Trent engine deliveries to our customers in 2020 were for Trent XWBs. We know how crucial it is for our customers to rebuild and grow their networks sustainably, using new generation engines like the Trent XWB.”
