JAL domestic passenger numbers fall for third straight month

The number of domestic passengers has been falling on a month-on-month basis since reaching 1.2 million in March. When compared with pre-COVID-19 levels, the June figure was 71.3% below the 2.9 million domestic passengers flown in June 2019. Capacity, or available seat kilometres (ASK), was 47% below what JAL flew domestically in June 2019.
