British Airways has signed a five-year contract extension with Lufthansa Technik Philippines to maintain its fleet of 12 A380s at the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider's Manila facility. Read More »

ST Engineering has secured two maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) contracts – a five-year contract starting in 2022 with Alaska Airlines to provide heavy maintenance on 26 737s and a 12-month contract with an unnamed Asian airline to service CFM56-7B engines from mid-2022 to mid-2023.

China Development Bank Financial Leasing Co. said its CDB Aviation Lease Finance DAC subsidiary has signed a purchase and leaseback agreement with Mexican carrier, Volaris, covering four A320neos, with two of the type to be accepted by the carrier in September-October and two to be delivered in May 2022.

China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited (CALC) has reached a sale and purchase agreement with Puyin Financial Leasing Co. covering two A320s, with the contract to be completed by September.

Boeing and AE Industrial Partners have established an independent and expanded venture capital group, AEI HorizonX, which Boeing said would expand its venture capital investing on mobility, space and connectivity, industrial tech and enterprise digital solutions.

Malaysia-based energy solutions provider, T7 Global Berhad, has secured orders from Taiwan's Global Tek Fabrication Co. and Thailand's CCS Advance Tech Co. to supply metal surface treatment services for aerospace parts.
