Lufthansa Technik said Mainland operators of A320 family aircraft will be able to install inflight connectivity after regulators validated a supplemental type certificate (STC) for a satellite communication system with high-speed broadband Ka-band connectivity in partnership with Honeywell.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is to add medical company SYNLAB's laboratory testing network to its Travel Pass app, allowing passengers to receive certified COVID-19 test results from SYNLAB through the app.

Singapore-listed ST Engineering has reported net profit rose 15%, to S$296.1 million (US$218.3 million), in the six months to June 30, from S$257.4 million in the same period last year. Revenue rose 2% to S$3.7 billion.
