Cebu Pacific reports US$128 million June quarter loss

Leading LCC, Cebu Pacific, has announced a 6.5 billion peso (US$128 million) net loss for the three months to June 30, an improvement over a net loss of 8 billion peso in the same three months in 2020. Read More » Revenue rose 125%, to 3.2 billion peso, Cebu said in a filing to the Philippines Stock Exchange, but added the outlook was uncertain. "The COVID-19 pandemic could have a material impact on the group’s financial results for the rest of 2021 and even periods thereafter," Cebu Pacific said in its financial accounts. "Considering the evolving nature of the pandemic, the Group will continue to monitor the situation.”
