Bangkok Air narrows quarterly loss to US$20.6 million

Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited has reported a net loss of 686 million baht (US$20.6 million) for the three months to June 30, an improvement over a net loss of 3 billion baht in the same three months in 2020. Read More » Revenue rose 39% year-on-year, to 1.4 billion baht, and costs fell 47.7%, to 1.9 billion baht, Bangkok Air told the Stock Exchange of Thailand. "For the second quarter of year 2021, the company has been continuously challenged by the impact of COVID-19 since it emerged as the third wave," Bangkok Air said in its financial accounts.
