Sydney Airport said in a regulatory filing to the Australian Securities Exchange the board has rejected a revised indicative, conditional and non-binding takeover proposal from a consortium of infrastructure investors of A$8.45 (US$6.21) cash per stapled security, arguing the bid continued to undervalue the asset, was not in the best interests of security holders and "opportunistic in light of the COVID-19 pandemic". The bid was up 2.4% from an initial offer of A$8.25 per stapled security lodged on July 5, which valued Sydney Airport at about A$22.3 billion.

Aircraft manufacturer, Embraer, has reported a net profit of US$87.9 million for the three months to June 30, returning to the black from a net loss of US$315.3 million in the same three months a year ago. Revenue improved 110.4%, to US$1.13 billion. "This year is one of recovery and next year and beyond, we plan to capture Embraer’s full potential to grow with profitability," Embraer CEO, Francisco Neto, said.

Satellite operator, Inmarsat, plans to boost its L-band satellite network through the Inmarsat ELERA project that includes the launch of two satellites, higher speeds and smaller, low-cost terminals for aviation, maritime, governments and select enterprises.
