Garuda Indonesia withdraws legal action against Rolls-Royce after mediation

Read More » The airline told the Indonesia stock exchange it signed an agreement with the OEM on August 12 and that the legal action is to be withdrawn. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. Garuda took legal action in the Jakarta District Court in September 2018 alleging fraud in a maintenance contract covering the Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engine that powers its A330-300 aircraft. It sued the OEM for 640.9 billion rupiah (US$44.4 million).
