AirAsia Thailand to restart domestic flights from September 3

Read More » The announcement of the reinstatement of domestic flights followed the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand's (CAAT) weekend easing of restrictions on domestic flights. The CAAT said yesterday the domestic network will be able to operate at 75% capacity, with passengers required to show proof of vaccination and COVID-19 testing results. AirAsia Thailand's flights have been suspended since July 12. The LCC's 11 routes from Don Mueang are Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Hat Yai, Khon Kaen, Nakhon Panom, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Narathiwat, Phuket, Roi Et, Ubon Ratchathani and Udon Thani. AirAsia Thailand is offering 30% off all seats booked on its app, with the offer expiring on September 5. Thailand is relaxing travel restrictions in 29 high-risk provinces, including Bangkok.
