Qantas to install Bluebox-powered streaming IFE on regional jet fleet

Read More » The Australian carrier is installing the Bluebox Wow wireless IFE system on QantasLink's A320, Fokker 100 and 717 jet aircraft and Alliance Airlines E190s operated on behalf of Qantas. “Recently receiving our STC on the Airbus A320 Family for our aircraft powered version of Bluebox Wow system and now being able to announce the selection of Bluebox Wow by Qantas for its QantasLink network, are two exciting and very positive milestones for us to mark as our industry begins to emerge from the global pandemic,” Bluebox business development director, David Brown, said. Qantas said the IFE installations would commence on A320s this week and be progressively rolled out across all QantasLink jet aircraft by the second half of 2022. Some two-class QantasLink 717s already have IFE.
