Cebu Pacific Air primes for fourth quarter recovery

Cebu Pacific said it is ready for domestic travel recovery in the Philippines with increased flights in response to easing of quarantine restrictions. Read More » On the domestic front, the LLC will expand flights in October to Siargao from five to six times weekly; raise frequencies to Boracay from four to five times a day and bump up flights to Bohol from nine to 10 times weekly. Internationally, the carrier will resume daily flights to Dubai from September 30 and to Kuala Lumpur from October 4. Services to Japan also will receive a boost with a twice weekly service to Nagoya starting October 2 and to Osaka from October 4. Services to Fukuoka will resume on November 5. The airline has moved to stimulate demand with a domestic fare sale and continues to offer unlimited rebooking after permanently removing change fees in March. “We believe reopening domestic travel and the promotion of responsible travel is critical to rebuilding the trust and travel confidence in the industry,” said Cebu Pacific vice president marketing and customer experience, Candice Lyog. COVID-19 compliance includes daily extensive cleaning and disinfection protocols for all aircraft and facilities, antigen testing before duty for all frontliners and crew members and contactless procedures.
