Thai Airways International updates progress on restructure

Thai Airways International (THAI) is paying down debt in accordance with its court-approved rehabilitation plan and has written off shares to reduce its registered capital. Read More » A report on the company’s restructure until September 14, submitted to the Stock Exchange of Thailand, shows the company wrote off 516, 129,033 unissued and unused shares to lower its registered capital. It also sold its shares in Bangkok Aviation Fuel Services, the Nok Airlines Public Company and land and buildings at the Laski training centre. Also sold were five CFM56-3C1 engines 737-400s no longer in use.
