Rolls-Royce has announced that influential Airbus executive, Grazia Vittadini, will succeed Rolls-Royce chief technology officer (CTO), Paul Stein, when he steps down next year. Vittadini is currently CTO at Airbus. Read More »

SATS president and chief executive, Alex Hungate, will leave the company in December to take up a new role in a different industry. Hungate joined SATS as an independent director in July 2011 and was appointed executive director two years later.

Malaysia Airlines managing director, Captain Izham Ismail, has been appointed to the International Air Transport Association’s board of governors for a three-year term.

Two former Garuda Indonesia executives are to run state-owned aviation and tourism holding company, PT An Viasi Pariwisata Indonesia (Aviata). Triawan Munaf will serve as the company’s president commissioner and Dony Oskaria as its president director, according to the Jakarta Post.

Travel management platform, CWT, has announced U.S.-based Cristina Scott will head its financial services unit effective immediately.
