VietJet Air confirms plans to resume domestic flights from October 10

Vietnamese carrier, VietJet Air, plans to open seven domestic routes from Sunday as part of a wider move to resume domestic flying in Vietnam. Read More » VietJet expects to resume routes with daily return flights connecting the southern hub of Ho Chi Minh City with Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh Province), Tsinghua, Tuy Hoa (Phu Yen Province), Phu Quoc (Kien Giang Province), Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa Province). It also is looking to open the Tsinghua – Nha Trang and Tsinghua – Phu Quoc routes with two return flights per week. The LCC said it will implement seat spacing in accordance with Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) requirements. “VietJet is ready to serve passengers on all flights across Vietnam,’’ the airline said, and added details of flight schedules and tickets will be available on its website, app, ticket offices or official agents “as soon as allowed”. This week, the CAAV recommended that 10 domestic routes be reopened after consulting 21 cities and provinces.
