Embraer delivers 30 aircraft in 2021’s third quarter

Read More » The 21 executive jets accepted by customers for the three months to September 30 included Embraer’s 1500th business jet, a Phenom 300E, to Haute Aviation, a Swiss company focused on charter, brokerage and aircraft management. Embraer’s order backlog at September 30 was valued at US$16.8 billion. During the quarter Embraer sold 16 new E175 jets worth US$798 million at list prices to U.S. carrier, SkyWest. The jets will be operated by SkyWest for Delta Air Lines adding to the 75 E-175s already being flown by the U.S. aviation giant. Among services and support contracts agreed during the quarter were Canada’s Porter Airlines for an aftermarket support package for the carrier’s E2 fleet of commercial aircraft lasting up to 20 years. The OEM also signed a pool program agreement with United Express carrier, CommutAir, to support the airline’s ERJ 145 fleet and a pool program extension with Cobham in Australia for its three E190s. Also in Australia, Embraer contracted a services agreement with Alliance Airlines for materials support for the carrier’s E190s.
