Korea’s airports prepare for post lockdown world

Read More » International operations at Seoul Gimpo International Airport, Jeju International Airport, Busan Gimhae Airport, Daegu International Airport, Cheongju International Airport, Muan International Airport and Yangyang International Airport were disrupted by the coronavirus. A meeting between government, airline, airport and tourism officials, focused on reopening the facilities to international flights, examined issues such as internationally recognised COVID-19 testing initiatives and contactless services. "We hope the resumption of international routes at regional airports will make international travel more convenient and faster for local residents and contribute to the revitalization of the local economy, which has been depressed by the coronavirus," Korean Airports Corporation president, Chang Wan Son, said.
