Virgin Australia trials seat changes

Virgin Australia (VA) has launched trials of “a refreshed seat experience” in two of its 737-800 aircraft. Read More » The cabin configuration of eight business class and 162 economy and Economy X seats mirrors its existing aircraft but the business seats from long-term partner Collins Aerospace offer an extra 40% of recline, more storage and table space and built-in device holders. The economy seat features a seatback device holder capable of accommodating smartphones and tablets as well as upper safety card and menus stowage. VA group chief customer officer, Paul Jones, said the interior would be trialled for several months to gauge customer reaction.
