Scoot to launch Christmas flights to London via Bangkok

Singapore Airlines Group (SIA) LCC, Scoot, will launch a service between Singapore and London’s Gatwick Airport via Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport next month. Read More » The 787 flights will begin on December 16 and will operate three times a week until December 27 with a return service on December 29-30. The Christmas flights will be followed by a three times a week scheduled service from March 2022. “The progressive relaxation of international borders presents new opportunities for airlines and travelers alike,” said Scoot CEO, Campbell Wilson. “With the ability to now travel quarantine-free between the United Kingdom and Thailand, Scoot is excited to introduce the only low-cost option between Bangkok and London, offering our unique combination of great value and great experience with a touch of Scootitude.” With the addition of London, Scoot will serve more than 30 destinations in December as it progressively builds back to its pre-COVID coverage of 68 cities. It currently operates daily flights between Singapore and Bangkok.
