The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has announced Marie Owens Thomsen will join the association as its Chief Economist effective January 4, 2022. Read More » Owens Thomsen comes to IATA from Banque Lombard Odier, where she has been Head of Global Trends and Sustainability since 2020. Prior to that role, she was the long-time Global Head of Investment Intelligence at Indosuez Wealth Management. Her career also includes the responsibilities of chief economist and related roles at Merrill Lynch, Dresdner Kleinwort Benson and HSBC.
