Cambodia removes quarantine for fully vaccinated travellers

Read More » The previously isolated country opened its borders to fully vaccinated travellers on Monday, two weeks ahead of schedule, allowing arriving passengers to bypass quarantine provided they tested negative for the virus 72 hours before entering the country and again after landing. Cambodia had previously planned to open its borders in stages from November 30, with travellers initially restricted to two coastal provinces. However, visitors will now be able to travel anywhere in the country after a negative test. Unvaccinated travellers still face 14 days in quarantine. The Cambodian government said it had decided to bring forward the deadline to start the nation’s revitalisation of economic and social activity as quickly as possible.
