Hong Kong startup, Greater Bay Airlines, has chosen China Aircraft Services Litd (CASL) as its line maintenance and ground handler for its 737-800 fleet at Hong Kong International Airport. Read More » CASL will provide the LCC with 24/7 aircraft line maintenance support including transit services, scheduled checks, ground support equipment and riding engineer services.

Rolls-Royce has signed an agreement with Silk Way West Airlines to provide replacement engines for five of its RB211-524 powered 747-400Fs that will support the carrier’s operations until 2026. The agreement will provide the cargo airline with a minimum of 20,000 flight cycles of engine life for the next five years and deliver a cost-effective solution for maintaining its fleet at the current level of operability.

Pratt & Whitney Canada has announced the expansion of its year-old carbon offset service to include operators of the company’s helicopter engines enrolled in the Eagle Service Plan (ESP) and Fleet Management Program (FMP) pay-per-hour maintenance programs.
