Korea Airports Corporation is close to signing a deal with the Ecuadorian government to operate Manta Airport. The Korea Herald said a negotiating team is visiting Ecuador for talks to finalize the deal. The agreement, which is estimated to be worth 40 billion won (US$33.76 million), will see the Korean corporation acquire 100% of the airport and operate it until 2051.
