Read More » Subject to regulatory approval, SIA will operate daily Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) services from Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai to Singapore from November 29. The airline said bookings were open on the flights and will be marked as VTL operations. It also will progressively operate non-VTL services from Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kochi and Kolkata to Singapore from the same date. Its LCC subsidiary, Scoot, will fly four times weekly non-VTL services between Singapore and Hyderabad from November 30 and three a week non-VTL services from Singapore to Tiruchirappalli from December 2. Under the recently announced arrangements, customers who are not Singapore citizens or permanent residents and wish to travel on the VTL services must apply for a Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP) before submitting their visa requests. VTP applications must be made between seven and 60 calendar days before the intended date of entry into Singapore. Customers also must ensure they are eligible to travel under the VTL arrangements before their flights, including adhering to Singapore’s travel and health control measures.
