Binge entertainment ahead for Cathay Pacific Airways passengers; HBO Max to be offered to every seat

The inflight video binge will take on a new dimension when Cathay Pacific Airways premieres HBO Max in Asia with more than 200 hours of content in the first three months after its launch on January 1. Read More » The HBO Max library will be available across the Hong Kong airline’s inflight entertainment (IFE) system and will include award-winning hits such as Succession, The White Lotus, Mare of Eastdown and classics such as The Wire, The Sopranos and Game of Thrones. “During the pandemic, we have been hard at work to bring our entertainment offering to new heights in readiness for the return of passengers,’’ said Cathay Pacific general manager customer experience and design, Vivian Lo. “HBO Max offers some of the most critically acclaimed and exciting shows on the market. This partnership gives us more complete limited original series than ever.” The HBO Max deal also includes the Warner Bros movie library. Next year, the airline plans to add more than 300 hours of content to its already extensive inflight entertainment offering.
