Read More » The LCC said forward bookings for travel 31 to 90 days in advance have risen by 25% and bookings for travel up to 30 days in advance have increased by 17%. “The downward trend in COVID-19 cases is very encouraging for the different sectors in our country, domestic tourism included," AirAsia Philippines spokesperson, Steve Dailisan, said. "We are optimistic that this trend, along with the strategic easing of safety protocols across regions, will reinforce the confidence of local tourists to re-explore and reconnect with our own culture, heritage and top destinations." Tacloban and Cebu were the top destinations of choice for February travel, while demand for travel to Caticlan (Boracay) was strongest in March and April, the LCC said.
