ST Engineering has established a consortium with Skyports and Sumitomo Corporation to provide unmanned aircraft (UA) services for shore-to-ship parcel delivery in Singapore. As part of the agreement, ST Engineering will provide its DroNet UA technology and conduct the Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) flight operations jointly with Skyports. Sumitomo will contribute go-to-market support.
Embraer-owned Eve has formalised the type certification process for its electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft with the Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil (ANAC).
