China Southern Airlines domestic passenger numbers rise 10.5% in January

China Southern Airlines (CSA) flew 6.6 million passengers on its domestic network in January, up 10.5%, from six million in the same month in 2021. Read More » The January figure also was 8.3% higher, month-on-month, from 6.1 million domestic passengers in December 2021. Domestic passenger load factor for the reported month was 63.4%, CSA said, compared with 65.3% in January 2020 and 65.5%, last December. During the month, CSA added an A321neo to its fleet and retired two 747F freighters.
