Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) and Capital A's engineering arm, Asia Digital Engineering (ADE), held a signing ceremony at the airshow yesterday for the construction of an MRO facility at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Read More » The 380,000 sq. ft. complex, capable of servicing up to 14 commercial aircraft at any time, is scheduled to be completed in 2024. “The new facility will be capable of handling narrow-body and wide-body aircraft. We are keen to expand our capabilities beyond the current types of aircraft that we perform maintenance on,"ADE CEO, Mahesh Kumar, said. Capital Media has reported that A CEO, Tony Fernandes, has said the company planned to raise 400 million ringgit (US$95.6 million) of fresh capital to fund ADE's expansion.Capital A was formerly known as AirAsia Group.
