Safran to introduce nacelles MRO capacity at Suzhou facility

Safran said at the airshow it will establish a dedicated MRO workshop for nacelles at its Suzhou facility in China. Read More » The MRO is scheduled to be operational by the second quarter of 2022. The facility will be certified by the Civil Aviation Administration of China and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency for the repair of nacelles and thrust reversers for the A330ceo and CFM LEAP-1A powered A320neo family aircraft, Safran said. Capability for COMAC C919 MRO will be added to Suzhou’s product portfolio at a later date.
