Japan Airlines records 1.5 million domestic passengers in January

The January traffic report for Japan Airlines (JAL) has stated the airline carried 1.5 million passengers on domestic flights for the month, up 123.4% from 684,690 intra-country passengers in the same 31 days in 2021. Read More » However, the figure was down 31.4% month-on-month from the 2.2 million domestic passengers the airline flew in December 2021. The oneworld alliance member's domestic passenger load factor declined 17.2 percentage points, to 41.9%, in January from 59.1% in December. On a more positive note, it was 10.8 percentage points higher than the 31.1% in January a year ago.
