Embraer launches passenger-to-freighter conversion program

Read More » The entry into service of the E190F and E195F is expected in early 2024 with the conversions to be undertaken at Embraer's facilities in Brazil. “Perfectly positioned to fill the gap in the freighter market between turboprops and larger narrow-body jets, our P2F E-Jet conversion [offering] hits the market as the demand for air freight continues to take off and e-commerce and trade in general undergoes a global structural transformation,” Embraer Commercial Aviation CEO, Arjan Meijer, said. Embraer forecasts an estimated market for 700 of the freighter types in the next two decades. The E190F and E195F will have a payload of 23,600lb (10,700kg) and 27,100lb (12,300 kg), respectively.
