Air Canada boosts Oceania schedule and network

Air Canada will resume two routes to Oceania and boost frequencies on a third service to the region in anticipation of a lift in international travel. Read More » The Star Alliance member will increase Vancouver-Sydney nonstop flights to daily from early May. Four times a week Brisbane-Vancouver services will begin on July 1 followed by three flights weekly between Auckland and Vancouver from November 10. "We are accelerating the restoration of our Australian and New Zealand routes to respond to pent-up travel demand between our countries as borders reopen," Air Canada senior vice president for network planning and revenue management, Mark Galardo, said. At present, Air Canada operates five flights a week between Sydney and Vancouver.
