Read More » The 737-800s will undergo conversion to freighters from in the second quarter of 2023 at STAECO in Jinan, China and Boeing's London Gatwick workshop, ASL Aviation said. “This new order is an important element of our fleet renewal programme. We are delighted to expand our partnership with Boeing on the 737-800BCF," ASL CEO, Dave Andrew, said. "The 737-800BCF offers increased reliability and performance. Equally, its lower fuel burn reduces our environmental footprint." The latest order follows ASL’s decision to exercise options for 10 737-800BCF in February last year and order 10 aircraft with 10 options at the 2019 Paris Airshow. Currently, ASL has 11 737-800BCF in its fleet operating with ASL Airlines Belgium, ASL Airlines France and ASL joint-venture airline, K-Mile Asia, in Bangkok.
