Hawaiian Airlines confirms Honolulu-Auckland restart after two-year suspension

Hawaiian Airlines (HAL) will resume nonstop flights between Honolulu and Auckland from July 2. Read More » The route will be served three times a week with A330-300s configured with 18 business, 68 "extra comfort" economy and 192 economy seats. HAL suspended the route two years ago after the global outbreak of COVID-19. “Our July return comes at just the right time as Kiwis looking to get away this winter can now take a much needed tropical escape to the Hawaiian Islands or visit the continental United States," HAL regional director for Australia and New Zealand, Andrew Stanbury, said. HAL resumed flying to Sydney from its Honolulu hub last December. Its Brisbane-Honolulu service remains suspended.
