Today's briefs report news from Amadeus, Australia's Civil Aviation Safety Authority, the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Korean Air, Malaysia Airlines and the South Korea Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. Read More »

Amadeus has secured a contract extension from Malaysia Airlines to continue to provide its Altéa passenger service system and content distribution products to the airline. The Malaysia flag carrier also will adopt a number of other Amadeus products.

The Japan Civil Aviation Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has signed a technical agreement on aircraft maintenance with Australia's Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). The partnership is scheduled to begin on May 24. The agreement will reduce maintenance costs, the Japan bureau said.

Korean Air will participate in a research initiative to develop an urban air mobility (UAM) surveillance information acquisition system under the supervision of South Korea's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
