Read More » The predicted results were up from forecast passenger capacity of 57% of pre-COVID-19 levels in April and are based on current schedules. The airline group, Singapore Airlines and Scoot, flew 893,000 passengers in March, more than eight times the 100,100 passengers carried in the same month in 2021. It also was 64% above the 544,600 passengers who travelled with the two airlines in February. "There was a significant increase in passenger demand at Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Scoot in March 2022, as travel restrictions eased in almost all key markets and the Singapore government increased the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) quota for daily arrivals," SIA said in its monthly traffic report. "At the end of March 2022, the group’s passenger network covered 93 destinations including Singapore. This was around two thirds of the points flown before the pandemic."
