Total revenue for the financial year 2013-14 was a record-breaking AED82.6 billion (US$22.5 billion).
Emirates’ passenger numbers were up 13% and load factor was slightly down at 79.7% but this was to be expected in the face of a 15% increase in ASKs as a result of the carrier’s aggressive fleet expansion that saw the addition of 16 A380s, six B777-300ERs and two B777Fs to the fleet in 2013-14.
