Singapore Airlines and United Airlines expand codeshare partnership

Singapore Airlines (SIA) and United Airlines (UA) are expanding their codeshare partnership to include 19 new destinations - nine in SIA's network across Asia, Australia and the Maldives, and 10 with UA across the U.S. out of Los Angeles. Read More » SIA senior vice president marketing and planning, JoAnn Tan, said the partnership with UA was an "integral part" of the airline's growth strategy. "The expansion of the codeshare arrangement will provide SIA and UA customers with a greater array of choices and connections and seamless transfers for their business or leisure travel," she said. UA senior vice president international network and alliances, Patrick Quayle, said: “We are excited to further expand our partnership with Singapore Airlines and provide our customers with greater convenience and access to world class destinations in the region." The new destinations will be progressively offered for sale through the booking channels of both airlines.
