Airbus, Tata STRIVE and India's Aerospace and Aviation Sector Skill Council have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide opportunities for young people to receive the training and education necessary for careers in aviation and aerospace. "The three entities will form a joint working group to explore skilling in areas such as airport operations, flight training, engineering and maintenance and workforce requirements for the safety of aircraft and airports," the MoU said.

Qantas’s new distribution platform, which uses the International Air Transport Association's (IATA) New Distribution Capability standard, has been rolled out to international travel agents in South Africa, the U.K. and U.S., with more markets to be added in coming months. It is already available in Australia and New Zealand.
