Boeing Company has announced a shift of its global headquarters to Arlington, Virginia from Chicago in the U.S. Midwest. The aerospace conglomerate said having its Arlington campus just outside Washington D.C. made strategic sense given it was close to the company's customers and stakeholders.
Airbus has chosen the Thales PureFlyt flight management system for its A320, A330 and A350 family of aircraft, with entry into service planned for 2026.
SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC) has reported a net profit of S$67.6 million for the three months to March 31, returning to profit from a net loss of S$11.2 million a year ago. Revenue improved 27.8%, to S$566.1 million, the company informed the Singapore Exchange. "While we are confident of recovery, we are mindful that significant risks remain due to geopolitical tensions, continuing threats of COVID-19 outbreak in some countries and the emergence of new variants," it said.
