Japan Airlines (JAL) regional wing, Japan Air Commuter (JAC), will shortly receive its ninth ATR 42-600 turboprop. Read More » The aircraft will feature a livery inspired by the leaves of the Kaikouzu tree, native to the Kagoshima Prefecture. “We are proud to see ATR aircraft continue to support our long-standing Japanese customer, JAC, in its mission to connect communities and remote places as well as propelling local economies," ATR CEO, Stefano Bortoli, said. The Toulouse-Japan ferry flight of the new JAC 42-600 will be powered by sustainable aviation fuel.
