Airbus records 13 orders for May, cancellations unchanged at 173 aircraft

The latest Airbus orders and deliveries announcement reports the aerospace company booked orders for 13 commercial aircraft in May, lifting its year-to-date total for the first five months of 2022 to 364 aircraft. Read More » Order additions for the month were eight A320 family aircraft from International Airlines Group, four A350-900s from Turkish Airlines and one A220-100 from a private customer. Net orders at May 31 were 191 compared with 178 at April 30. Cancellations were unchanged, at 173 to date in 2022. Airbus delivered 47 aircraft to 27 customers in the 31 days compared with 48 deliveries in April. To date in 2022, 58 customers have accepted 237 aircraft from the Toulouse-headquartered OEM.
