ST Engineering has signed a five-year contract with Safran Aircraft Engines for maintenance on the CFM56-5B and -7B engines. The agreement will allow ST Engineering and Safran Aircraft Engines to meet a forecast increase in demand for engine maintenance, repair and overhaul activity as airlines return aircraft to their fleets post-COVID-19.
Hawaiian Airlines has agreed a Memorandum of Understanding with fuel company Par Hawaii to study the commercial viability of producing sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) in Hawaii.
