Taiwan’s flag carrier, China Airlines (CAL), will fly Taipei Songshan-Tokyo Haneda with A321neo from July 1 and rebuild passenger capacity in the second half of 2022 as air travel demand gathers momentum. Read More » The SkyTeam alliance member said flight frequencies will increase by 40%, about 150 flights a week, in the third quarter of this year. “China Airlines is ready for the revival of the travel industry in the post-pandemic era,” CAL said. “Potential markets are being assessed either to identify new destinations or increase frequency in preparation for the recovery in passenger demand.” Announced schedule changes are a boost in Taipei Taoyuan-Bangkok flights to 14 weekly and the operation of 10 flights a week to each of the cities of Manila, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
