SriLankan Airlines and Kuwait Airways commit to codeshare

SriLankan Airlines and Kuwait Airways have announced a codeshare agreement on flights between their countries. Read More » Both carriers will place their respective airline codes on each other's nonstop Colombo-Kuwait City services. SriLankan is operating daily flights on the route and Kuwait Airways will start flying three times a week between the two capitals in October. “We are delighted to enter a new chapter in the longstanding relationship between Kuwait Airways and SriLankan Airlines that is expected to generate value for our customers in multiple ways,” SriLankan CEO, Richard Nuttall, said. “We look forward to working with Kuwait Airways and creating greater synergy between our combined networks for the benefit of our passengers.” Kuwait Airways CEO, Maen Razouqi, said: “This codeshare partnership not only will enhance the partnership between the two airlines but boost the strong relationship between the two friendly states, Kuwait and Sri Lanka.”
